The brand was born from a deeply personal place. Founder Tanjela Nicole developed KaiLove Essentials in response to her daughter Kailani Love’s experience with hair loss caused by cradle cap as an infant. Determined to restore her daughter’s hair health, she began formulating products with ingredients specifically tailored to nourish the scalp and support healthy regrowth. What started as a solution for one child quickly became something much greater.

As Kailani’s hair returned to full health, it became clear that the same thoughtful formulations were exactly what many other women’s hair needed as well. KaiLove Essentials—named in honor of Kailani—evolved into both a product line and an educational resource grounded in professional natural hair care.
